HMRC launches video podcast for employers
HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) has launched a video podcast which aims to encourage employers to file their end-of-year returns online. The film can be downloaded onto a video mp3 player or viewed online and takes viewers through the main features of the PAYE online system. Employers with fewer than 50 employees have the option to file on paper but those who file online will receive a £100 tax-free incentive for doing so. The deadline for filing employer end-of-year returns is 19 May. There is more on this story at:
