New guidance for working with asbestos-coated decorative materials
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has produced new guidance for
businesses working with textured decorative coatings that contain
asbestos. Last year's Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations removed
the necessity of having a licence to work with these materials. The
factsheets, which are available on the HSE website, cover practices such
as drilling and boring, inserting and removing screws and removing
