Ofcom under pressure to react to broadband complaints
Communications industries regulator Ofcom is under pressure from small firms to take action over their complaints about misleading broadband services. Over 10,000 small businesses and consumers signed a petition in protest against the rates that Internet Service Providers (ISPs) use to advertise their services. The petitioners claim they're being mis-sold packages from ISPs then being charged for advertised speeds they cannot receive.
